2017-2018 Cheerleading Tryouts
PCA Cheerleading held tryouts on May 1-5, 2017. The athletes trying out went through intensive workouts and evaluations leading up to the final tryout day on Friday. Each athlete was required to the learn a cheer, a chant, and a dance taught by the seniors of the 2016-2017 cheer squad. The GISA requires squads to consist of 16 athletes for both the JV and the Varsity competition team. Cheerleaders were judged on their jumps, tumbling skills, ability to master the cheer, chant, and dance, as wells as their overall presence. Coaches Tisha Lewis, Missi Elrod, Leslie Langford, and Alexis Smith are proud the announce the 2017-2018 PCA cheerleading teams!
