Halloween Themed Varsity Girls’ Basketball Practice

Pinewood’s Varsity girls’ basketball team switched things up and had a little fun at practice this Halloween by allowing everyone to dress up in costumes. All players and coaches were encouraged to wear a Halloween costume and join the fun. The coaches’ costumes included a giraffe (Elizabeth Tatum), a 50’s chick (Kim Tarver), and two referees (Jamie and Leena Oats). Minions, white chicks, zoo animals, and red necks were some of the characters embodied by the basketball players. The laid-back practice consisted of dynamic stretches, practicing free throws, a five spot shooting game, and other fundamental drills. This was a great example of how PCA creates such a family oriented environment.
