Third Grade Makes Gingerbread Houses

By: Britton Waters, PCA Junior

On Tuesday, December 12, third grade students and their families gathered at Pinewood Christian Academy to continue the annual tradition of building gingerbread houses.  Students got creative with the decorating of their houses as their parents assisted them using icing, peppermints, Froot Loops, M&M’s, pretzels, gum drops, red hots, sprinkles, Christmas tree Peeps, frosted mini wheats, and animal crackers.  The teachers and parents loved watching the students as they all constructed their own unique masterpieces.  “We’ve been doing this for a long time, and everyone has always had fun doing it,” said Mrs. Pam Daniel, third grade teacher.
