Spanish II Projects: Famous Hispanics in History
To wrap up the first semester, Mrs. Johns’ Spanish II classes gave presentations on famous Hispanic people, i.e. José Quintero, Frida Kahlo, El Chapo, Jennifer Lopez, who have impacted either the culture of the United States or the world as a whole. Students created a three to five minute presentation including information about their subject’s birthplace, childhood, young adulthood, rise to fame and/or relevance, and current stand (if they’re living or not) and their location and position today with a visual aid. Their visual aid could be a PowerPoint, poster/trifold poster, clothes, handouts, or anything else that could enhance their presentation and should be referred to during their presentation. The students all did a wonderful job making their presentations both informative and interesting. Mrs. Johns was very impressed with her students’ efforts and presentations.
