Softball and Cheerleading State Ring Ceremony

On March 17, 2017, the cheerleaders and softball players were honored for winning state titles with rings at the baseball game. Coach Wasson presented state rings to both the players and coaches of both teams.

The Lady Patriot softball team, coached by Brett Lewis, Kelvin Goodson, and Tracy Lynn, played for their third consecutive GISA AAA State title on October 15, 2016, at Valdosta State University in Valdosta, GA. The Lady Patriots came out with the victory and got the “3-peat” after a 20-2 season.

The Patriot cheerleaders, coached by Tisha Lewis and Becky Dasher, competed for the 2016 GISA AAA State title on November 19, 2016, at Georgia Southwestern University in Americus, GA. The cheerleaders dominated the mat and came out as the state champions after an undefeated season. This was the first state title they had won in 6 years.
