Polar Express Day at PCA
By: Britton Waters, PCA Senior
Friday, December 14th, the students at Pinewood Christian Academy in grades K-3 through 3rd celebrated Polar Express Day in their pajamas. The day started off with the students being led around the school by conductor, Coach Clay Hill, as they went Christmas caroling. The lower school hallways were transformed into a scene from the Polar Express to make it appear that the students were waiting outside their houses to catch the train. Each student was given a golden ticket that was punched before they were admitted into the classroom where they watched the movie, The Polar Express. While enjoying the movie, students snacked on powdered sugar donuts and sipped hot chocolate. Both students and teacher were thankful for this well-deserved reward for all of their hard work over the first semester.
