Pinewood’s K-4 students bake cookies

Last week, K-4 students baked cookies in the Home Ec lab at Pinewood Christian Academy (PCA). The students were learning the letter B, when they came across a video of a baker. After watching the video, Mrs. Cofield and Mrs. Callaway were inspired to do a little baking of their own.
The students learned what ingredients were needed to make the chocolate chip cookies and then learned how to prepare them. After learning the basics, it was time to hit the kitchen. PCA’s little bakers worked hard to get their cookies just right and then when they were done, they got to enjoy them for a snack with some milk.
