Pinewood’s JV Cheer Finishes Out their Season at GISA Middle School Invitational

PCA’s junior varsity cheerleading team went head to head with 7 other teams on November 17th in Columbus, Ga. The teams competing included: St. Luke, Briarwood, Bulloch, Trinity, Gatewood, Brentwood, and Robert Toombs. Pinewood finished 4th behind Bulloch, who finished in third, Gatewood 2nd, and Robert Toombs who took home the trophy. The girls worked hard throughout their competition season, and made their coaches very proud.
Coach Alexis Smith commented on the squad’s season saying, “The girls improved every single competition! They came into practices ready to work hard. I loved watching them grow throughout the season. Each practice and completion, it was so evident the love they all had for our team. Each girl brought a different aspect and talent to our team. It was a great year.”
