Pinewood Prepares Christmas Shoe boxes
By Leah Deal, PCA Senior
Every year in celebration of Christmas, Pinewood Christian Academy joins with Tab Smith Ministries to support them in their annual shoe box drive. This mission project prepares shoe boxes for children of the Navajo reservation between the ages of two to eighteen. The children will receive items such as toys, non-perishable foods, personal care items, socks, hats, and various other supplies the children may need or enjoy. The home economics classes also knit handmade hats for the children to wear. Pinewood gave 338 shoe boxes in total to send with Tab Smith Ministries on their trip to the reservation.
