Pinewood Golf Team Named State Runner-Up

The Pinewood Christian Academy golf team ended their season at Sapelo Hammock Golf Club on April 30th at the 2AAA GISA State golf match. The team competed against 10 other teams, and placed state runner-up.
Parker Claxton finished with a score of 79 for the day. Ty Hutson shot 81 and Jackson Godbee finished with an 83. Maylon Stanfield ended with an 85, and Jake Shuman shot a score of 89.
The team came in second with a score of 328, falling behind Frederica Academy(299), who took home the title of State Champions. The Patriot team was very proud of their strong season and their finish to the year as state runner-ups.
