Pinewood Christian Academy Cheerleaders Shine as State Runners-Up in Competitive and Game Day Cheer

By Libby Kate Blocker, PCA Junior

During the 2024 cheer season, our Lady Patriots achieved all-state runner-up for competition cheer and all-state runner-up for gameday competition. In a remarkable display of athleticism and precision, the team has distinguished itself by earning two significant runner-up honors. Their performance at both the state competition and game day event demonstrates the squad’s dedication to excellence and their ability to compete at the highest levels of high school cheerleading. The girls also attended various competitions throughout the season while placing well at each event. As the team reflected on their season, one of the seniors eloquently captured the spirit of their journey by saying, “Looking back at the season, we were thankful for all the hard work that paid off and enjoying a last final season leaving it all on the mat.” As they close this chapter of their competitive cheerleading journey, the Pinewood Christian Academy squad can look back with pride. The runner-up titles are a powerful reminder of their potential and a promising glimpse into future seasons. What began as a challenge has ended in a moment of collective achievement and celebration. Congratulations to the Pinewood Christian Academy Cheer Team – State and Game Day Competition Runners-Up for 2024!
