PCA’s Lady Patriots play in Turkey Invitational

On November 22-23, the Lady Patriots traveled to Edmund Burke Academy for the Thanksgiving Invitational tournament. They played two games during the tournament. The Patriots had great success in their first game and played hard in the second game, but unfortunately did not claim the victory.

PCA vs. Alleluia

On November 22nd, the Lady Patriots took on the Alleluia Community School Angels out of Augusta. The girls started the game with a lead of 18 -13 at the half. Throughout the game, they continued to persevere and took the lead in the 4th to clinch the win 29-23.

Payton Cowart and Libby Kate Blocker both led her team in scoring with 8 points. Emily Moncrief followed with 4, and Katlin Smith 3. Charley Holland, Priscilla Dillon, and Matti Parker then followed with 2 each.

PCA vs. Briarwood

On November 23rd, The Lady Patriots faced off against the Briarwood Academy Bucs. It was a close game through the first half with Briarwood in the lead of 22-16. Pinewood battled in the second half for the win, but did not get ahead of the Bucs. The final score was in favor of Briarwood 36-28.

Charley Holland and Matti Parker led in scoring with 7 points followed by Emily Moncrief with 6, Lilly Griffin and Priscilla Dillon with 4.
