By: Britton Waters, PCA Senior

On Saturday, November 10th, the varsity and junior varsity cheerleading teams of Pinewood Christian Academy hit the mats for their third competition of the season at the Briarwood Cheer Classic.  The varsity girls dominated the mat, beating Brentwood Academy, Bulloch Academy, and Trinity Christian.  This is the girls’ third time bringing home first place out of three competitions!  The junior varsity squad’s performance earned them second place falling just behind Bulloch, but ahead of Brentwood, Gatewood, and Trinity.  Both teams had a successful weekend, and the next time they compete will be for state on November 17th at Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus.
