PCA Students Recognized at Upper School Honors Night

On Monday, May 14, the students in the 7th through 11th grades at Pinewood Christian Academy were recognized for their achievements throughout the year at Upper School Honors Night. The awards students could receive included Honor Roll, Achievement Roll, Perfect Attendance, Subject Awards, Duke TIP, and Merit Scholar Awards.
Students are selected to receive a subject award for not only academic success in the classroom, but also for demonstrating a good work ethic and participating in class. It is a great honor for a student to be chosen for one of these awards, and PCA congratulates the following students for this achievement:

Out of the 1.5 million students that take the PSAT, there are only 50,000 that score high enough to enter the Nation Merit Scholarship Program. These students will receive a scholarship, and the top students in each state will be named in September. This year Pinewood congratulates Irene Lee for qualifying for the 2018 National Merit Scholarship Program.
