PCA SPAL Boys Take on the Season

Pinewood’s SPAL basketball team is off to a great start with a record of 4 -1. The season looks promising for the boys led by Coach Callaway. This year’s team consists of seven eighth graders: Parker Claxton, Walt Durrence, Grayson Duckworth, Nathan DeLoach, Jade Bradley, Peyton Williams, and Mic Wasson. There are also five seventh graders: Jax Lewis, Smith Dekle, Luke Scott, Spencer Callanan, and Colton Sowell.
PCA vs St. James
November 13, Pinewood Christian Academy traveled to St. Peters to take on the St. James Chargers. Pinewood dominated the court for a win with an overall score of 44 to 14.
Mic Wasson led the Patriots in scoring with 18 points. Grayson Duckworth followed with 8 points, Jax Lewis with 6, Parker Claxton 4, Smith Dekle 2, Jade Bradley 2, Luke Scott 2, and Nathan DeLoach 2.

PCA vs St. John Paul
November 15, Pinewood Christian Academy traveled to St. Peters to take on St. John Paul. Pinewood dominated the court for a win an overall score of 32 to 27.
Wasson led the Patriots with 13 points. Walt Durrence, Duckworth, and Lewis all followed with 5 points each, Bradley 2, and Scott 2.

PCA vs St. James
November 20, Pinewood Christian Academy traveled to St. Peters to take on the St. James Chargers. Pinewood took their first loss of the season with an overall score of 39 to 26.
Wasson headed the Patriots in scoring with 12 points. Duckworth followed up scoring with 5 points, Claxton 3, Bradley 2, Scott 2, and Peyton Williams 2.

PCA vs Blessed Sacrament
December 4, Pinewood Christian Academy traveled to Savannah to take on Blessed Sacrament Irish. Pinewood conquered the court for a win an overall score of 36 to 28.
Duckworth took the lead for the Patriots scoring with 15 points, Wasson and Claxton followed with scoring 9 points each, and Bradley 3.

December 7, Pinewood Christian Academy traveled to Savannah to take on the St. Peters Rams. Pinewood dominated the court for a win with an overall score of 55 to 11.
Wasson led the Patriots scoring with 9 points, Duckworth and Lewis followed with scoring 8 points each, Williams and Bradley 7, Spencer Callaway 6, Scott and DeLoach 4, and Colton Sowell 2.

December 16, Pinewood Christian Academy traveled to Savannah to take on the Calvary Cavaliers. Pinewood took a loss on the court with a score of 28 to 26.
Wasson headed the Patriots with a total of 12 points, Bradley followed scoring 5 points, Scott 4, Duckworth 3, and Claxton 2.
