PCA Lady Patriots to play in Final Four

PCA vs. Deerfield
On February 20, Pinewood Christian Academy hosted the first round of state play-offs that led to be an intense match against Deerfield Academy. The Lady Patriots stayed on top most of the game and seized the win with a final score of 57-50.
Macy Pirkle scored the most points with a total of 14. Abi Oates followed with 12, Meghan Boatright 10, Haley Thompson 9, Shelton Rogers 8, and Raegan Waters 4.

PCA vs. Gatewood
On February 23, the Lady Patriots traveled to John Milledge Academy to go head to head against the Gatewood Gators in the second round of state. Pinewood started out strong and increased their lead throughout the game. The Patriots dominated the court with a final score of 40 to 18.
Pirkle led in scoring with a total of 11 points. Boatright followed with 8, Rogers 6, A. Oates 6, Jordan Jernigan 5, Thompson 2, and Waters 2.

Pinewood will travel to Mercer University to compete in the final four on Friday, March 2, against the Trinity Crusaders of Dublin, GA at 5:30 pm. A win will result in the playing for the state championship at Mercer on Saturday, March 3, at 5:20 pm. Come out and support our Patriots!
