PCA Hosts First Home Basketball Game

November 22, 2016, Pinewood Christian Academy’s (PCA) Varsity and B-Team boys’ teams played the Savannah Country Day Hornets for their season opener at home.

The Varsity Patriots won with a score of 67-61.

Ethan Duckworth led the game in scoring tallying 28 points of which 7 were free throw shots. Kaleb Shuman scored 15, Jeffrey Young 9, Maylon Stanfield 7, Kort Kennedy 4, and Wes Purcell 4. The Patriot free throws percentage made in the game was 50%.

The PCA B-Team lost a tight game against the Hornets with a score of 39-45. David Friedburg led the scoring with 17 points of which 1 was a free throw shot followed by Lake Dasher with 11 points, Caleb Conley 2, Maylon Stanfield 2, and Trey Kennedy 2.
