PCA Home Economics Class Makes Pound Cakes

The students in the Home Economics class at Pinewood Christian Academy (PCA) have been learning to make pound cakes from Mrs. Paula Bush. In 2012, Mrs. Paula Bush retired from PCA after 42 years of teaching; she now substitutes frequently.

Over the past semester the seniors in the Home Economics class have had the chance to cook, sew, knit, plan meals, clean properly, and prepare food safely. The students have enjoyed learning these new skills.
