PCA Holds Junior Ring Ceremony

On December 12th, Pinewood Christian Academy (PCA) held their annual junior ring ceremony for the class of 2020. Family and friends were invited to the Eddie Durrence Gymnasium to attend this event.
Prior to the ceremony, the juniors and their parents to a luncheon hosted by Claxton First Methodist Church at the Parker Family Life Center in Claxton. The ceremony began with the juniors and seniors entering the gymnasium accompanied by a processional played by Mrs. Miriam Porter. Junior President Madeline Deal gave a warm welcome to the audience and spoke about the junior class’ excitement for this day. Junior Vice President Ashton Shuman introduced the guest speaker for the ceremony, Mrs. Lyndsay Bracken Deal, who gave the class of 2020 a wonderful speech about focusing on the present. Then, Headmaster Clay Hill called each junior to the front to receive their ring. Each junior’s ring was presented to them by a senior of their choice.
The class of 2020 would like to thank everyone involved in this memorable occasion.
