PCA Golf Team plays at Frederica Academy Invitational

Pinewood Christian Academy’s (PCA) golf team played against 12 other teams on March 5th in the Frederica Academy Invitational at Pinelakes Country Club on Jekyll Island. PCA came in at fourth place with a score of 314, falling behind Hilton Head Christian with a third place score of 308, Valwood Academy with a second place score of 307, and Frederica who claimed first place with a score of 293.
Competing for Pinewood, Ty Hutson finished with a 74, the best score of the Patriots. Finishing shortly behind Ty, Jackson Godbee and Parker Claxton both scored a 79. Maylon Stanfield ended the day with a total score of 82 and Jake Shuman with an 84. Keaton Smith finished with a 109.
Overall, PCA’s golf team finished their first tournament of the season on a positive note. Come out and support the Patriots at Brazell Creek as they compete against Vidalia High school and Trinity Christian School on March 22.
