PCA Fall Sports Banquet
On Monday, December 7, Pinewood Christian Academy (PCA) held their annual fall sports banquet. This banquet honored the athletes involved in football, softball, cross-country, and the shooting team.
The football players that received awards include:
- Preston Campbell received All Region, All State, All Star Game, and Universal Patriot.
- Noah Calloway received All Region, All State, All Star Game, and Super Patriot.
- Will Sheffield received All Region, All State, All Star Game, and Super Patriot.
- John Michael Thompson received All Region.
- Connor Kennedy received All Region.
- Blake Shuman received All Region and Super Patriot.
- Jeffery Young received All Region.
- Kaleb Shuman received All Region.
- Garlon Rogers received Super Patriot.
- Quincy Tanner received Super Patriot.
- Parks Hagan received Honorable Mention for All Region.
- Matthew Floyd received All Region and Universal Patriot.
- Cameron Dutton received All Region, Honorable Mention for All State, and Universal Patriot.
The softball players honored were:
- Carleigh Bell received Defensive Award and All Region.
- Emily Shiver received All Region, All State, and the Emily Shiver Award.
- Shelton Rogers received the Offensive Award, All Region, and All State.
- Maggie Greer received the MVP Award, All Region, and All State.
- Raegan Waters received Defensive Award, All Region, and All State.
- Delaney Pirkle received All Region.
The cross-country runners honored with award were:
- Brantley Swindell received the Most Valuable Runner Male.
- Rachel Jarriel received Most Valuable Runner Female.
- Morgan Todd, Haley Thompson, and Nicholas Strickland received Most Improved Runners.
The shooting team members that were awarded are:
- Preston Kight received Top Skeet and Top Trap.
- Lance Durrence received Top Gun.
- Sam Glisson received best sporting clays.
PCA is very proud of all of their fall athletes.
