PCA Dominates EBA 4-1

March 23, the Pinewood Christian Academy (PCA) Patriots challenged the Edmund Burke Academy (EBA) Spartans at home in Bellville. PCA won in the bottom of the seventh inning with a score of 4-1. Pinewood had 4 runs on 7 hits. Wes Purcell had two doubles. Ethan Duckworth, Ben Salter, Jacob Hendrix, Parks Hagan, and Wade Durrence each had a single. Hendrix had two Runs Batted In (RBIs), Purcell and Durrence both had a RBI. Hendrix pitched five innings with a total of 105 pitches of which 63 were strikes. Durrence pitched 2 innings, having a total of 26 pitches of which 16 were strikes.

March 25, the Pinewood Christian Academy (PCA) Patriots traveled to St. Simons to go head-to-head with the Frederica Academy (FA) Knights. PCA did not take home a win having a final score of 4-8 in the bottom of the seventh inning. Ethan Duckworth pitched all seven innings with a total of 114 pitches in which 70 were strikes. The Patroits had 4 runs on 8 hits. Jacob Hendrix had a double. Parks Hagan had a double and a single. Jake Woolard had a single, Wes Purcell had a single, Kaleb Shuman had a single, Ben Salter had a single, and Wade Durrence had a single. Salter, Hendrix, Hagan, and Shuman made it to home plate for the Patriots. Hagan had one Run Batted In (RBI), and James Rogers had 2 RBIs.
