PCA Cross Country Team Hosts Meet

Pinewood hosted a middle school cross country meet on September 26^th, including the schools Screven Christian and Bulloch Academy. Pinewood’s varsity teams also ran for time.

In the varsity 3.1 mile course, Laci Stone finished with a time of 25:07, followed by Riley Nevil at 26:17. Payton Cowart finished with a time of 27:17, Lilly Griffin (27:35), Ella Johns (27:57), Abi Scott (29:31), Ally McCall (30:09), and Lydia Kicklighter (30:22).

Also on the 3.1 mile course, Truett Rountree finished with a time of 24:35, followed by Bryson Croft at 27:13.

In the 1.5 mile middle school course, Taylor Bland finished 1^st overall at a time of 11:36, and Carrington Dutton followed, placing 3^rd with a time of 12:46.

Also in the 1.5 mile course, Cash Bland finished 3^rd overall with a time of 11:03. Kevin Wasson followed Bland, finishing 4^th at 11:38. Sutton Dekle finished 8^th at 12:40.

The middle school boys were the only competition with a full competing team, and Pinewood finished second behind Screven Christian.
