PCA Cross Country Team Competes in Brentwood Meet

Pinewood attended a varsity and middle school cross country meet hosted at Brentwood on September 16th.

In the 3.1 mile varsity run, Laci Stone finished first for Pinewood’s varsity girls’ and 19th overall with a time of 25:00. Riley Nevil followed finishing 26^th (26:25), Lilly Griffin 30^th (26:44), Matalie Miles 42^nd (27:56), and Ally McCall 51^st (30:32).

In the varsity boys’ run, Bryson Croft finished 88^th with a time of 27:02.

In the middle school girls’ run of 1.5 miles, Payton Cowart finished 9^th overall with a time of 15:53, and was followed by Carrington Dutton placing 13^th at 16:46.

In the middle school boys’ run, Kevin Wasson placed 31^st with a time of 17:00. Taylor Solaro followed Wasson in 34^th place at 19:30, and Sutton Dekle finished 35^th at 20:05.
