PCA Biology Honor Students Visit the Okefenokee Swamp
By: Anna Scott
On Tuesday, May 10, the students in the Pinewood Christian Academy (PCA) biology class that had maintained an A average all year took a field trip to the Okefenokee Swamp. All year, the students have been learning about life forms and their environments in the classroom. On this trip these students had a chance to experience these different life forms and environments first hand. The group attended a nature show in which they learned about a few particular species of wildlife that live in the swamp. They then went on a boat tour of a portion of the swamp. To finish the trip, they were served a lunch of handmade steak-burgers crafted by their teacher, Rev. Tom Sollosi.
