PCA 9th Graders Present Spanish Projects
By: Brayden Gravley, PCA sophomore
The freshmen in Mrs. Paula Johns’s Spanish I class recently presented their first big project of the school year. Each student picked a Spanish-speaking country to study before starting their project. Students then had to recreate the flag of that country in any way they chose. Some painted the flag of Venezuela onto a canvas while other’s sewed the Cuban flag or turned the flag of Mexico into cupcakes! During the presentations, students showed off their flags and stated facts about their country: population, capital, current leader, and more. Every year, students gain knowledge on these Spanish-speaking countries and Mrs. Johns gains new flags to display in her room. It’s safe to say that this is el proyecto mas divertido!
