Ms. Haddon’s Class of Givers

Ms. Haddon’s first grade class at Pinewood Christian Academy has been learning about the importance of giving back in memory of others.  Her students took this lesson to heart and performed an act of kindness for their teacher in memory of her father.  Mr. Larry Thompson, Ms. Haddon’s father, was a founding member of the Volunteer Fire Department in Nevils, GA.   The students in Ms. Haddon’s class raised money and were able to donate $200.00 to the Nevils Volunteer Fire Department in his memory.  His family would like to thank the parents and students for their charity and generosity.
