Pinewood Lady Patriots Advance to Final Four
On February 21st, Pinewood Christian Academy’s (PCA) Lady Patriots hosted the first round of state playoffs against Bethlehem Christian Academy (BCA) Lady Knights.
The Lady Patriots advanced to the 2nd round of state by winning 50-22.
Macy Pirkle led the Lady Patriots scoring 12 points. Abi Oates and Haley Thompson followed with 6, Emily Griffin and Shelton Rogers 5, Aubrey Ray Sheffield and Meghan Boatright 3, and Jordan Jernigan, Abigail Bland, Raegan Waters, Karly Cowart, and Morgan Todd 2.

On February 24th, the Lady Patriots traveled to Georgia College and State University to compete in the 2nd round of state playoffs. They played in the Storm Dome against the John Milledge Academy Lady Trojans.
Pinewood won with a score of 47-18 and advanced to the Final Four for the first time in 9 years.
Macy Pirkle scored 17 points to lead the Lady Patriots. Following her were Meghan Boatright with 10, Abi Oates 8, Shelton Rogers 7, Haley Thompson and Jordan Jernigan 2, and Emily Griffin 1.
