JV Cheer Team Attends Summer Cheer Clinic

During the last week of July, Pinewood Christian Academy cheer coaches, Alexis Smith and Emma Dasher, hosted a cheer clinic for the JV cheerleaders. The theme for the mini-camp was under the sea. Decorations in the Randy Roderick gym were sea themed which included a picture booth with seashells and a whimsical backdrop. The cheerleaders learned routines, worked on stunts, and had some fun by playing mermaid themed relay games. On the last day, the girls dressed up as mermaids, presented the routine to their parents, and received gift bags from the coaches. This was a week full of fun and learning that all of the girls enjoyed.
