Heart Dissection

The students in Mrs. Pollak’s Human Anatomy class recently had the chance to dissect a sheep’s heart. They were able to identify the aorta, pulmonary veins and arteries, and they were able to cut the heart in half and see where they all led to. Although it smelt awful,the experience was a unique and enjoyable opportunity.
