February Mission Project

This month’s mission projects include donating to Safe Haven and St. Jude’s. The upper school is donating to Safe Haven in Statesboro. It is a home for women and their children who are in dangerous situations. Safe Haven offers them a place where they can take refuge, where they are protected. Pinewood is donating things like diapers, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and other things they may need.

The lower school is focusing their mission project by doing their annual Mathathon for St. Jude’s Research Hospital. Each student is handed a booklet of math problems and activities to complete and turn in. With every one booklet completed, money pledged by family and friends is donated to St. Jude’s for research and treatment via their website.

We ask and encourage everyone to participate and support at least one of these worthwhile causes while also too, thanking everyone who has already donated.
