FCA Green vs. White Game

Pinewood’s annual “Green vs. White” basketball game was held on Monday, March 13, 2017. This game is a fundraiser benefiting FCA. Teachers play against students, and everyone always has an exciting time. Emily Threlkeld scored the first basket for the students, and Garret Blaxton scored for the teachers. During halftime, Michael Sapp gave a devotion, and his topic was “Don’t Replace Great Things with Good Things.” He encouraged students and teachers alike to not replace the greatest thing, Jesus, with jaded items like computers or cell phones. After halftime, the teachers and students battled for the win with the teachers ultimately prevailing. The final score was 71-60 with the teachers bringing home yet another win.
