Faith without Deeds

As the Bible says, faith without deeds is dead. If we proclaim to know God but do not act like Him, our faith is dead. God calls us to have a personal relationship with Him on a daily basis; if we only show our love for God on Sunday, can such faith save us?

We are called to seek Christ’s presence and wisdom in everything we do. We don’t do good deeds because they save us, because they don’t. We should do good deeds because our love for Christ compels us and motivates us to love others. To live in Christ and die to ourselves is gain. We have to pick up our cross daily and chose to follow Him. This means we have to chose to follow God and not give in to the desires of the flesh.

Living for Christ daily strengthens your relationship with Him and allows you to live to your fullest potential. Good works is a result of God working in our lives, but only faith through Christ can save us.
