Basketball Update

On February 23, 2016, Pinewood Christian Academy’s (PCA) varsity girls played against the Westfield Lady Hornets for State Playoffs at PCA. The Lady Patriots lost with a score of 43-47. Macy Pirkle had a total of 18 points, Shelton Rogers had 13, Raegan Waters 4, Tarah Thompson 4, Abi Oates 2, and Haley Thompson 2. The Lady Patriots have a win to loss ratio of 19-7 for the whole season. Congratulations to these girls for being Region Champions.

On February 24, 2016, PCA’s varsity boys’ team played against John Milledge for State Playoffs at Holy Spirit in Atlanta. The Patriots lost to the John Milledge Academy Trojans with a score of 43-61. Cameron Dutton had a total of 13 points, John Michael Thompson had 9, Ethan Duckworth 8, Will Sheffield 5, Kaleb Shuman 3, Kort Kennedy 3, and Jeffrey Young 2. The Patriots’ win to loss ratio is 12-13. Congratulations to these boys for being 3rd in Region.
