5th and 6th Grade Girls Basketball Game

On February 11th, 2016, the 5th and 6th grade girls basketball team from Pinewood Christian Academy (PCA) won second place in the Savannah Parochial Athletic League(SPAL) basketball championship. These girls competed against Savannah Country Day. Even though they lost this game, their 2015-2016 season record stands at 9-2. The two losses were both against Savannah Country Day. The points in the game were scored by Anna Kate Dutton with 11 points, Sydney Jernigan with 6 points, and Marley Dekle with two points. The first half of the game was going well but the third quarter saw the girls begin to lag behind. By the end of the game the girls made a good recovery, but they never fully recovered. The final score of the game was Savannah Country Day with 25, to Pinewood Christian Academy with 19.
