5th and 6th Grade Field Trip to the Battle of Manassas

On March 17, the 5th and 6th graders in Mrs. Lindsey Blocker’s history classes went on a field trip to visit the reenactment of the Battle of Bull Run in Manassas, GA. Students had the opportunity to learn how the Civil War impacted those both directly and indirectly involved during that time.  They also were able to explore the roads the soldiers traveled during the Bristoe Station Battle. To give the students a more authentic experience, students that included images, audio, and maps to make the journey more life-like.
