4th Grade American Portrayal
The fourth grade students at Pinewood Christian Academy (PCA) presented an American Portrayal report for Mrs. Julie Coley’s class. The students were allowed to pick any famous American from a provided list and present an oral report along with a visual representation. They were also required to dress in a costume to portray the person of their choice. Each presentation was three to five minutes long. The report was graded based on the child’s presentation, volume, time, and eye contact along with specific details given. These reports were a wonderful way to inform the students along with their classmates about different Americans, and what he or she had done in our country to make them famous.
