11th Grade Anatomy Eyeball Dissections
Mrs. Pollak’s 11th grade Anatomy class has been learning about the human eye. In order to get a better understanding of the parts of the eye, Mrs. Pollak created a lab where students were given the opportunity to dissect cow eyes. Some of the parts include: the Ciliary body, Optic nerve, Iris, Retina, Lens, Tapetum Lucidum, pupil, and the Sclera. The students always enjoy Mrs. Pollak’s labs and seemed to really understand the parts of the eyes after having a hands-on look at them.
