Pinewood Christian Academy had their second annual career day on March 31st. For career day, professionals of diverse occupations came to educate our students in grades 9th through 12th on their specific job. Career day is a wonderful way for our students to learn about a career they’re interested in from an actual expert in that particular field. The high school students attended five classes for 25 minutes each with their choice of careers. Professionals included: general surgeon, probate judge, cosmetologist, banker, and veterinarian, among many others. The fire department and air evacuation classes were at the track, and they brought a fire truck and helicopter to aid in their presentation. The students have looked forward to career day and enjoyed this fun and educational experience. Thank you to all the professionals who sacrificed your time to teach the high school students about your career!
